Imaginative Binoculars

I get a ton of ideas from Pinterest and trust me I am stocking up for Summer Break! We go through a lot of toilet paper in the house so of course we always get the empty rolls and it felt so wasteful to throw them away. So I did my searching and I have found a lot of great ideas to recycle them and use them with crafts for the kids. The binoculars are probably going to be one of the first ones we try. I don't think I'm going to go by the tutorial from that blog because it gave me my own ideas. I'd rather let them paint them and decorate them with stickers or something... that way they can do most of the creative process. I'm pretty excited about this project so I'm not sure I'm going to wait until summer lol.

Super Hero Cuff Tutorial

These are freakin adorable and I will definitely be following that tutorial as is. I think they would love this! I could even surprise them with super hero capes! I'm way to excited for all of this lol. Like I've said I've got a lot of ideas pinned to my Kid Friendly Crafts page. You should check it out!

My New Project

That is going to be my next DIY from pinterest. Aren't they adorable!? I have a couple of empty soda bottles and I've been trying to figure out what to do with them and I'm so excited. I thought about doing a tutorial but I think I'd rather do the project first on my own and make my mistakes without having to worry about taking a picture every 5 minutes. There were a few more ideas that I really liked for recycling old bottles. Like this one:

 This one actually already has a nifty tutorial here: Crafty Blog! I found it on pinterest also. I'm not too sure how often she blogs but I think I'm going to follow it regardless. Maybe I'll try this one in a couple of weeks.

Welp, other than my crafty mood I have some (hopefully) good news! The manager on my old shift has finally admitted they need help back on their shift and he's going to talk to our HR manager and see if he can push things along. SOOOOOO I may be back on my original shift here soon which means I get to start school, I get to have 4 days off a week, I get to see the kids more,  they get to stay here overnight more often to get used to the house, AND I get to spend more time with Kenny <3 I'm trying to not get my hopes up too high because it doesn't mean I'm going back like next week or anything but damn it's going to be nice to get away from second shift. Granted I have made some new awesome friends and I like a lot of people on that shift but I could really go without seeing a certain face or hearing that awful shreaking noise coming from its mouth almost every day lol. Alright, that was mean... truthful... but mean. Welp... I've gotta go rinse out my soon to be adorable as hell flower pots :3
